When we think about being all natural and eating healthy, like shopping at Whole Foods, we know we are doing something that is truly beneficial to our state of being as humans. We are nourishing our bodies with all the best natural organic ingredients and when we do this we get amazing benefits such as health and longevity. I would like you to think about natural fabrics in the same way. When we use a fabric whose raw fibers have not been treated with toxic pesticides and herbicides and has not endured harsh chemical baths and processes we get a product that is far safer and much healthier for us than any conventional fabric. The same is true with organically grown vegetables vs. conventionally grown vegetables. Wouldn’t you much rather feed your family natural organic vegetables, full of vitamins and minerals, that have not been treated with harsh chemicals that could possibly get into your body and cause long term problems including cancer. No, no one would ever make this decision if they had the right information and knew that this was how it was going to affect them. Well the same is true for the fabrics that we select for our homes and our clothing. If we select fabrics and more so fibers that have been treated with toxic chemicals from their inception as seeds and though out the manufacturing process we end up with a final product that produces toxic out-gassing. Toxic Out-Gassing is when the fabric releases the toxins that were used in the manufacturing process from its fibers. These toxins go into the air that we breathe and onto our skin from our clothes; they are poisonous and harmful to our bodies in the same way the toxins used in conventionally grown fruits and vegetables are. It is no wonder that so many people suffer from such sever ailments and allergies. We do however have alternatives to these conventional fabrics now, same as we have alternatives to conventional produce. They offer great benefits such as health and purer living environments in the home and work spaces. The fibers, when being farmed are healthier fibers for the farmers to farm and provide an organic food source for the small co-op farms that are farming them. This is largely due to the hemp plant which acts as a natural pesticide, detouring bugs and eliminating the need for harsh and toxic pesticides and herbicides. The whole product from start to finish is safer and healthier for everyone they touch. And on that note I would like to tell you a little about each of the different fibers that you will find in our unique, couture, environmentally safe fabric line we like to call Full Circle Textiles. I feel you will find that not only are we offering you the responsible Earth Friendly alternative, but an amazing marketing tool as well.
